Thank you brother for your musings upon inequivalent equivalents. THey sure helped me see the dimness of my own intellect in comparison with your own.Truly, I am one of the “dim ones” who cannot "grasp" simple logic. Lol. Now,moving onto the subject of clarity in grasping simple things let me refer to matters I raised over on the other thread about something you said. Now Al, your next reply post is quite interesting because rather than admit that, yes, like a schoolyard brat, you were calling her childish names, you posted that you actually had a cunning PLAN in calling her names. You were not being childish and insulting, rather you were applying a carefully worked out, brilliantly conceived strategy of EXIT COUNCELLING that involved verbally abusing people!! You said:

So you were actually calling her names ( "painfully straight talk" ) to reach Lurker dubs and make them THINK, (making others “think” appears to be a mission that you have) Those peering upon the board in secret must think! Those ones in pain must apply logic so as to be exited from the cult! Wake them up even if you have to beat them up to do it! Dammit! Anyway… That is why you were calling her names. To shock those lurkers into seeing that she was a mind control robot. That’s what you said Al, so that must be what you meant. Then I asked for some evidence that this method of insulting people to get others out of the cult worked:

With me still Al? Good. Now a published paper demonstrating that your technique of insulting a dub to get other dubs to exit the cult would be great Al. Even a decent essay with some graphs demonstrating the success of the method would be fine. Better still, a couple of testimonies from people you have exited using this amazing method.

Hey NG. You obviously cant express your opinion in PM to some. I agree with you, it was WRONG of monkey to hang up your PM. But I can understand him being upset and making a bad judgement call.I like monkey, hes okay.
Because your PM should never have been made public its wrong of them all to howl and condemn you for what you said. Youll have to get used to the howling mob mentality thats round here sometimes.Unless youre willing to toe the line and be politically correct in ex dub terms.

I love in Revelation, where at the end of the 1000 years the perfected ones are tested by Satan and some fall again and become satans followers. The Bible says the "Number of these is as the sand of the seashore and they come up and surround the city of the saints".This scripture looks as though the vast majority fall under satans spell , of course, the Org disagress and says these ones "as the sand of the seashore" are a small band, not a majority. I can understans the Org saying this, It would look illogical saying that mankind was perfected over 1000 years and,when tested again, and having known the experience of resurrection, age reversal, and having seen all those bleached bones of the armaggedon dead....well they STILL choose Satans side! Very illogical like I say. Lol.

New light question
by yxl1 ini was discussing with my motherinlaw last weekend the change in the 1995 "generation" doctrine,and got the usual response that it was a new light.
what started out as a little bit of fun during a long car journey actually turning into something quite sad and disturbing.
i argued that old light was obviously wrong (by their own definition), and therefore, by her reasoning she has been preaching lies.

Well of course the entire concept of new light is a load of Bull. Im not aware of any scriptural backing for the idea except for a scripture in Psalms, which, of course has nothing to do with prophetic interpretation. Its a slender verse around which a huge concept has been woven to excuse saying things in Gods authority which invariable fail to occur. I dont doubt that not a single "prophet" of God has ever made an end of the World prediction that came true. lol. I was watching a National geographic show last night along the lines of whether there are planets surrounding stars out in the universe. Based on her theory, the scientist in charge PREDICTED a string of things that the star she was observing would do, and when it would do them. Score : 100 percent accuracy! Now THAT is Prediction based on "Truth".

I dont care what kind of an Ex JW internet Essay god anyone is, nor do I care whether 10 years ago he wrote a dozen clever essays. Especially if I havent read them. All I care about is whether a guy behaves like an asshole and How he treats me personally. If hes rotten to me, hes going into the black book of revenge until such time as payment can be collected. Very simple philosophy. I know Steinhaug ( who, incidentally, Ive barely ever addressed personally) runs a website full of information that may be of interest to ex dubs. Good on him. But the others ?? Theyre just posters on a board far as Im concerned. I see no great contributions to the betterment of mankind from them. Besides, They wouldnt come back here in a fit, unless, every time they say: " I wouldnt go back there in a fit" ( which they say every second day) they are lying. I noticed that Haugland posted recently that Simon the Pieman "concocted FALSE emails" to make Haugland look bad.
Anyone who believes that has rocks in their head. In my experience, the person accussing others of Gross crimes is the perpetrator himself. The guy is scum.

Certainly we have attended some severe boarding school or other if we feel the need to congregate and endlessly discuss it and the brutality of the masters in their dispensing of punishments .Even decades after the event in some cases.And doubtless on that school posting board there would be those who personally hated me and shunned me.

Well of course being as antisocially inclined as I am ( a reaction to the compelled compliance within my dub experience)I have a tendancy to 'swim against the stream'. Even here.Whenever i see a general trend towards the forming of an agreed behaviour I tend to resist it. Thats something I still have to get over. Its true that disagreement with "generally accepted opinion" here will get you attacked or shunned, but perhaps that is no more than people ignoring people they find personally offensive. There is no policy here that persons have to be shunned for any reason, It is purely a matter of individual choice here whether you shun someone or not. That is the difference between Here and the Kingdom hall. I think if you find someone personally repellent and ignore or dislike them...that is normal and good.
Now go ahead and ATTACK me.... Please!
